Using Your Breadmaker On The Dough Setting
Okay, You Have Your New Bread Maker, And Now You Know That It Makes Absolutely Delicious, Wonderful, Healthful, Homemade Bread!
But, what if you don’t want to bake a loaf of bread? What if you just want to make pizza dough? No problem there. A bread machine is designed to mix, knead, and raise your dough. Instead of adjusting the settings according to the kind of bread you’re making, you simply adjust it to the “Dough” setting. In approximately an hour and a half, your bread maker gives you a beeping signal to let you know that the dough is ready to be shaped into whatever it is you plan to bake.
Here are some of the things you can use the “Dough” setting for:
- Pizza
- Dinner rolls
- Cinnamon rolls
- Hungarian coffee cake
- Swedish tea ring
- Croissants
- Candy cane coffee cakes (for Christmas)
- Kulich
- Cheese souffle bread
- Stollen
- Fruited wreath
- Christmas Tree coffee cake
- Panettone
- Raised doughnuts
- French bread
- Italian bread
- Raisin-cinnamon bread
- Hot dog buns
- Hamburger buns
- Hot Cross buns
And the list goes on and on, limited only by your imagination. It’s fun, it’s easy, and everyone who gets to sample the goodies you turn out will love you for your efforts.

I might consider to buy one bread machine for myself since I love bread and pizzas. This is really good for me. Thanks.

I wasn’t aware that you can use a bread machine on a dough setting that would be suitable for pizza. Couple that with an outdoor stone oven and you can make restaurant quality pizza.
